I too was very disappointed with my recent lunch at Mi Casa. We arrived before noon to beat the lunch crowd that did not materialize. I ordered the beef Quesada and as with the Alamance foodie, I was disappointed. It was more onion than meat with a lot of tortilla. The rice was dry. I ordered a side of guacamole that had the smooth consistency of being pureed in a blender or poured out of jar. No chucks of avocado. The buffet looked interesting but its presentation was sore to the eyes. Mi Casa opened with a bang but it appears it is misfiring and becoming a more flash in the pan. I believe there are other Mexican restaurants in town that provide a better meal for a reasonable cost.
